maura cluthe is one of my closest and dearest friends.  we met my second or third week at hallmark in the kansas city airport heading out on a business trip.  the moment we met we were laughing and talking up a storm.  we connected so strongly our co-workers were convince we knew each other for years even though we had just met.  this connection has remained just as strong, if not stronger through the years.  besides being such a fantastic friend, maura is also one of the most amazing artists i know.  i am still in awe when i see maura and her work because it is such a juxtaposition knowing these dynamic and powerful pieces of art come from my little friend maura.  here’s a link to her site www.frag-ment-ed.com

this is the site of my good friend . . . god . . . brian despain.  his talent never ceases to amaze me.   brian despain

lynne cerro is another amazingly talented person i am fortunate to have meet in my life.  she was highly recommended to me by a good friend i'd worked with in the past, so i brought her on at universal creative.  i was art directing "men in black: alien attack" for universal studios florida at the time and lynne became my head color stylist for the entire mib project.  we worked so well together i brought her on for my next project "templo del fuego" for universal's port aventurea in spain.  the project won a thea award, (the themed entertainment industries equivalent of an oscar.), the year it opened.  she can paint with an ease i've never seen before and in one of the hardest mediums to master,  watercolor.  lynne cerro

i met bruce and wendi when i moved to the north coast of oregon and the two of them have become great friends who are extremely talented and knowledgeable.  they own a gallery in ilwaco washington which showcases their work and like me they have a passion for all things mid-century.

mark sackett is an original.  he is one of those people whom you meet and know you will never meet anyone else like him in your lifetime.  i was introduced to him while i worked at hallmark and am thankful we've managed to keep connected ever since.  he is one of the most energetic people i have ever met with an incredible creative drive.  take a look at his company, reflectur.

david, who owns dva gallery in chicago,  is one of the nicest people i have ever met, (as is his wife vickie).  the art he curates for his shows is phenomenal.  here is the link to dva gallery.
