this photo was sent to me by alice, a fellow pumpkin fan who loves the spread in scott allen and my book “somethin’ pumpkin” featuring a collection of pumpkin heads for the new season. this is pumpkin head #30. not only has one of my pumpkins been incorporated into this tattoo, it also contains one of my all time favorite quotes “do or do not. there is no try.” what a great surprise to see my pumpkin with my favorite quote! thank you for sending this my way, it looks fantastic.

the most amazing event, i received an email which said: “i just wanted to tell you how much i loved skelly the skeleton girl. i work at borders and came across your book in our kids department one day. i was expecting my first child and i was on the look out for baby names. Once i saw your book i knew if i had a girl i would name her skelly. on april 14th of this year i gave birth to my beautiful daughter, i named her skelly sue.” i am both flattered and thrilled to have made such a connection with something i created. without further a due, i present the beautiful skelly sue.
